The HP ENVY 6155e features a 2.4-inch color capacitive touchscreen (320 × 240) for easy operation and comes equipped with an 800 MHz processor and 256 MB DDR3 memory. It prints black text at up to 10 ppm (ISO) and can reach 20 ppm in draft mode for A4 pages. For color printing, speeds reach 7 ppm (ISO) and up to 17 ppm in draft mode. First-page-out times are efficient as well, with black prints on A4 paper ready in as fast as 19 seconds, and color prints in as fast as 22 seconds. The device also supports automatic duplex printing, offering added convenience for double-sided tasks. Built for moderate workloads, the printer supports a monthly duty cycle of up to 1000 pages, though the recommended monthly volume is 100 to 400 pages for optimal long-term performance. Print quality is impressive, delivering up to 1200 × 1200 rendered dpi for black text and up to 4800 × 1200 optimized dpi for color printing when using selected HP photo papers. It uses HP Thermal Inkjet technology and supports multiple print languages, including HP PCL 3 GUI, HP PCLm, PJL, and URF. Connectivity is versatile with Hi-Speed USB 2.0, built-in dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), and compatibility with popular mobile printing methods such as the HP app, Apple AirPrint, Chrome OS, Mopria Print Service, and HP Print Service Plugin. HP ENVY 6155e supports modern operating systems, including Windows 10/11 and macOS 12–15, requiring only basic storage and an internet connection for setup.
