HP ENVY 6455e offers a wide range of features and functions. This includes scanning, copying, and faxing as well as the Internet connection and the associated option of printing documents via smartphone. But even without a display, the printer looks good and pleased with its well-made case including lighting. The printer has an automatic document feeder for 35 sheets of paper and a paper input capacity of up to 100 sheets. Both double-sided and borderless printing up to 8.5 x 11 inches is possible. When printing, the resolution is 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. Despite the average quality, the printer takes plenty of time. In the test, it only manages 7.3 black-and-white pages per minute and needs a whopping 1:30 minutes to print a photo. A graphic takes even longer at 03:15 minutes, but it at least looks high-quality. When copying, the HP ENVY 6455e printer offers a resolution of up to 300 x 300 dpi, while when scanning documents up to 1,200 dpi is possible. The printer scans up to 7 images per minute in black and white. The quality of the copies is convincing, with around 14 seconds for a text copy, the time required is okay – for a photocopy, on the other hand, it takes 50 seconds. Thanks to the Internet connection, you can also make use of the “HP Instant Ink” service, which automatically orders a refill when the ink level is low. The printer offers a well-rounded configuration, which apart from a touchscreen-only lacks LAN and CD printing. The HP ENVY 6455e is a classic all-in-one printer with a WLAN connection. As such, it not only allows documents to be printed, scanned, copied, and faxed but can also be fed with print jobs via AirPrint or similar services using a smart device. I just need these two to talk to each other. Was a problem with the printer offline. I think that is resolved an it also says printer is not connected to the internet. I’m not sure if that is still an issue or not. Right now I have the computer and printer connected with a usb cord but want to be able to go wireless.
Please open the “setup poster” file, then install the HP smart on your computer/smartphone, then open HP smart app and follow the direction on your hp smart application to set the ENVY 6455e in wireless mode. hope this help 🙂
It’s still an issue, I almost hate that I bough an HP again. So difficult to setup and the printer is even worse.
