The HP ENVY 6530e is a versatile all-in-one inkjet printer designed for home users and light-duty printing needs. It has printing, copying, and scanning in a compact multifunction device, with a recommended monthly volume of 100 to 400 pages and a maximum duty cycle of up to 1,000 pages per month. Using HP Thermal Inkjet technology, it delivers print speeds of up to 10 ppm in black and 7 ppm in color, while draft mode can reach up to 20 ppm black and 17 ppm color. The printer is particularly suited to users who print both documents and photos. It supports borderless photo printing, 4×6 double-sided photos and cards, panoramic photo formats, and photo paper up to 300 g/m². Its maximum print resolution reaches 1200 x 1200 rendered dpi for black and up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi for color on selected HP photo papers. The printer uses two cartridges—one black and one tri-color—with pigment-based black ink and dye-based color ink.
For scanning and copying, the printer features a CIS scanner with up to 1200 x 1200 dpi hardware resolution, 24-bit color depth, and a maximum scan size of 216 x 297 mm. It can make up to 99 copies, with black copy speeds of up to 8 cpm. Paper handling includes a 100-sheet input tray and 25-sheet output tray, while supported media includes A4, A5, A6, B5, envelopes, cards, and 10 x 15 cm photo paper. For connectivity, the HP ENVY 6530e features dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Hi-Speed USB 2.0, allowing users to print conveniently from computers, smartphones, and tablets. Mobile printing is supported through the HP app, Apple AirPrint, Mopria, Chrome OS, and HP Print Service Plugin for Android. The printer also includes a 2.4-inch color capacitive touchscreen for easy control and supports automatic two-sided printing.
