The revised version of the HP Sprocket has undergone a facelift, especially in terms of the housing design. Unlike other portable photo printers, the physical size of the HP Sprocket 200 is very small. You can even store it in your pants pocket easily, considering that this printer weighs only 170 grams. Following its small physical size, the printer prints photos at 2 x 3 inches (5 x 7.6 cm). The technology used is ZINK Zero Ink. So there is no ink to fill. You can just use photo paper in particular. One refill package contains 20 sheets of photo paper. You can also print on stickers. There is one hole that extends in the printer for outputting photo prints. Print colors are not always the same as on-screen. Can only be used from a smartphone. Ideal for creative projects or for making wedding/anniversary keepsakes, travel journal. From a technical point of view, not too much has changed. You shouldn’t expect high-quality photos here. The ZINK paper used does not require any additional ink and is also smudge-proof, but only produces images with moderate colors. Reds and skin tones in particular look pale. Paper installation is also very easy. You just have to slide the cover which is dominated by the HP logo and put the paper. The tiny device can be operated by battery and fed with pictures for printing directly from the mobile phone or PC via Bluetooth. After 10-15 printouts, the HP Sprocket 200 has to be connected to the power supply again. No cables involved in printing. You only need a MicroUSB cable to charge the battery. To print from a smartphone, it’s very easy. You only need to install the HP Sprocket application available on Google Play or the App Store. Then connect the phone to the printer using a Bluetooth connection. Once connected, all you have to do is select a photo to print using the HP Sprocket application. The photos that can be selected are not only limited to those stored on the cellphone, but also on social media. From our experience using it, this application is quite easy. However, if you have chosen to print one photo, it will be a little difficult to cancel it.
