The HP Deskjet 2600 is widely recognized as the most affordable wireless all-in-one printer from HP. It is specially designed for the occasional home user and can print, scan and copy. With the wireless connection built into the printer, you can easily wirelessly connect your devices and print from anywhere in the house. Best of all, the printer is great value for money and customers love the ease with which they can get prints from their mobile devices. The user interface is easy to use. You can also manage the printer from your mobile device. The printer has a fairly simple, attractive case. There’s a flatbed scanner on the top and an LCD control panel to the left of it. The functions of printing, scanning, and copying are operated here. There are buttons to turn on, cancel, Wi-Fi setup, information, color copy, and black and white copy, but more complex controls can be done remotely using the web administration panel or the HP mobile app. The small LCD screen shows the current status of the device, including the level of ink cartridges, Wi-Fi signal quality, and the status of the print job. The paper input tray is located on the back and holds up to 60 sheets of standard paper. The front output tray holds a maximum of 25 sheets of standard paper. There is no USB cable included. This is to be expected with an ultra-budget printer like the HP Deskjet 2600 series. However, it does come with a full set of standard ink cartridges that are expected to print approximately 120 black pages or 100 color pages. The low price of the printer does not mean that the print quality suffers. Get great prints from the printer. Black and white text documents are razor-sharp and color images are brilliant. With the best print quality, the printer has a print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dots per inch for black and white documents. However, color photo prints up to 4800 x 1200 dpi are best when printing from a computer. This Deskjet series prints are fast enough for home use. It is suitable for student projects, the occasional photo printing, and receipt and invoice printing of a small home office. For black and white or color printing, you can expect print speeds of around 5.5 pages per minute. When you print in draft quality, the printer spits out about 7.5 pages per minute on average. HP recommends printing between 50 and 100 pages per month. However, the HP Deskjet 2600 can process up to 1,000 pages per month if required. With HP Wireless Connect and smart device apps, the printer is one of the easiest printers to set up. Apple AirPrint is supported, and the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app lets you send and receive scans instantly to your mobile device.
