The HP DeskJet 2955 is a compact all-in-one inkjet printer designed for everyday home printing, copying, and scanning. It features an icon LCD, a 1.0 GHz processor, and 64 MB of DDR1 memory. The 60-sheet input tray and 25-sheet output tray accommodate common media sizes such as A4, B5, A6, and DL envelopes. Duplex printing is supported manually through the printer driver, while borderless printing and automatic paper sensing are not available. Using HP Thermal Inkjet technology, it delivers print speeds of up to 7.5 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 5.5 ppm in color under ISO standards, with the first black page ready in as little as 16 seconds. It provides black print quality of up to 1,200 x 1,200 rendered dpi and up to 4,800 x 1,200 optimized dpi color quality when printing from a computer on selected HP photo papers. The printer uses two cartridges, one black and one tri-color, and is eligible for HP Instant Ink. For copying and scanning, the HP DeskJet 2955 features a flatbed scanner with an optical resolution of up to 1,200 dpi and a maximum scan size of 216 x 297 mm. It supports scanning to JPEG, TIFF, PDF, and PNG formats and offers convenient control through front-panel copy buttons or the HP app. Copying is available at resolutions of up to 300 x 300 dpi for both black text and color graphics, with up to nine copies supported at a time. With a recommended monthly print volume of 50 to 100 pages and a maximum duty cycle of up to 1,000 pages per month, this printer is well suited for light-duty personal and household printing. The HP DeskJet 2955 offers built-in dual-band Wi-Fi supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, along with a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connection. Wireless printing is supported through the HP app, Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, and HP Print Service Plugin for Android devices.
