The HP ENVY Photo 7155 is in a flat housing with a touch display in the control panel for direct input of menu commands and function control directly on the device. An SD card slot for the direct printing of compatible memory cards is hidden behind a flap on the left side of the housing of the printer. In addition to this printing option, the printer offers a USB and a WLAN interface. The latter can also be used to communicate with mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets with the corresponding HP printing apps. Communication via the “Bluetooth Smart” standard is also possible. The paper tray in the HP ENVY Photo 7155 can hold 125 sheets of plain paper or 55 sheets of photo paper. Above the main paper template (also integrated into the cassette) there is another template for 15 sheets of smaller photo formats such as 10 x 15 cm or 13 x 18 cm. Both templates can be selected in the print settings as required. With this printer, there is no need to change the paper lock from large to small paper formats, and vice versa. In design mode, the HP produces 17 A4 text pages or 15 office color pages on plain paper per minute while printing is in progress. Text and graphics are easy to read in draft mode. We also liked the photo printing and the quality of the copies on photo paper. Here, the scanner, printing unit and the implementing internal software of the HP ENVY Photo 7155 do a very good job. Photo papers can be printed borderless or, if necessary, copied borderless. With the integrated duplex unit, the user can save paper when printing two-sided documents. overall, This printer is a versatile printer for the home office. The device shows its strengths particularly when printing graphics and photos. A template for smaller photo formats is integrated into the paper cassette.
