HP OfficeJet Pro 8132e is slightly flatter than the previous series, but surprisingly also wider. The diagonal of 6.9 cm display and has 3 sensor navigation buttons on the side that only light up when they can be used. The OSD (screen menu) is only slightly adjusted but offers a comparable look. Functionally, the biggest difference is probably the elimination of the duplex scanning function. One paper cassette is installed in each case, which can only hold 225 sheets of normal paper. Envelopes, labels or photo paper are also possible, but only up to a maximum of 280 g/m². No sensor measures the remaining paper capacity. It has a printing speed of 22 ipm in black and white and 18 ipm in color. As expected, this makes no difference when printing high resolution – the number of nozzles is the same after all. HP itself recommends operation via the “HP Smart” app, which is available for Windows, Mac OS, Android and iOS. HP OfficeJet Pro 8132e also offers native drivers for Windows 10 or macOS. Access from Linux via the “HPLIP” is usually also solved in an exemplary manner. Alternatively, you can also use one of the many universal drivers. Things look a little different with the scanner. HP offers a TWAIN driver for Windows and MacOS. WIA for Windows should also be supported. You can also do it completely without drivers using Airprint Scan, Mopria Scan or from the Chromebook.
