The HP ENVY Photo 6252 is one thing above all, stylish to look at. The multifunction printer uses a two-cartridge system, which has no advantages in practice. If one of the three colors in the color cartridge is empty, you have to replace the entire large color cartridge – with single color cartridges only the respective color would be necessary. This leads to high costs, especially since inkjet printers tend to have frequent nozzle cleaning programs, which always use up ink. Apart from the color cartridge, the HP is quite decent. It prints at an average speed for an inkjet printer, although color printing is logically much slower. Unfortunately, the HP ENVY Photo 6252 printer lacks a duplexer, which means you have to manually turn over documents printed on both sides, which is very time-consuming if there are many pages. The scanner has a high enough resolution to digitize even small print legibly and thanks to the WLAN interface, you can easily integrate the model into your network so that you are not tied to a local network cable when sending print jobs. You can also print from your iPhone or iPad using Apple AirPrint without additional apps – this also works perfectly from an Android smartphone.
