A good inkjet printer is packed with features and allows you to print large volumes of black and white and color copies. There are models with a very high resolution, but this is not absolutely necessary for private use. If you need digital templates quickly on paper, the HP OfficeJet 6954 is already well advised. The inkjet printer was compact, but also a bit larger in the test. The weight was light and was about 8 kilograms, the dimensions were 51.8 x 46.4 x 22.9 centimeters. Sleek and modern, the inkjet printer was visually stylish and was also a bit larger and bulkier in shape. The paper could be drawn in at the top, as was the quick scan by opening it. In the lower area, the printout took place, above which was an illuminated display measuring 2.2 inches. The HP OfficeJet 6954 was well made and built robustly. The resolution was slightly lower than in comparison with other models and was 600 x 1,200 dpi. The print format was possible up to DIN A4, not beyond that for larger originals. The model was therefore well suited for normal office work, allowed professional color prints and text document output in good quality. Copies were made with a good resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, with printing up to 60 sheets possible. The paper cassette was large and had space for 225 pages, which could also be automatically fed if required. The printer was optimized for double-sided printing and single-sided scanning, and also enabled photo and color printing. In addition, it offered a long runtime without loss of speed. Black and white output were printed at 30 pages per minute, while color printing was 26 pages per minute. The HP OfficeJet 6954 printer could be connected quickly and easily to the Internet via WLAN. Operation with mobile devices was also possible. The device had an excellent internal memory of 1 GB. There were other interfaces for Ethernet and USB. The inkjet printer was designed for “ePrint”, “Air Print”, “Wireless Direct” and “Google Cloud Print”. The setup was done quickly, even if only a simple software was available. The inkjet printer was connected either to the PC, to the Internet, or to various mobile devices. A power cord was there for electricity, a telephone cord for faxing documents. It was possible to make some presettings via the display. All settings were uncomplicated and can be made directly via PC or the existing display. The HP OfficeJet 6954 really turned out to be a powerful and multifunctional device, offering very fast printing speeds, quiet operation, and excellent print outputs in scan, print, and copy. Fine adjustments could be made via the display, the documents were output in good cycle times and depended on the text content. Color and black and white are printed in good quality.
